I always thought magic was phony.

I thought it was'nt true

Magic is just for kids I said.

Something circus actors do.

Pulling rabbit out of a hat,

Making things disappear.

These are few of those crazy things,

That made people scream and cheer.

I did'nt believe in magic

It was all conspiracy to me

Until an enchanting daycare made me realize

Magic was'nt at all I expect it to be.

It was that lovely day when you came into my life,

That made me find something out

What I thought was a big hoax before

Its true beyond reasonable doubt.

Magic now exists in my spirit

Everytime I see you around 

And we are apart, I still feel as if

In a trance of deeply spell bound.

What happened between now and then,

Is there something I don't know?

But now I am certain

What I feel for you isn't just for show.

The conspiracy I thought, I would'nt comprehend

Is now crystal clear on my mind 

Its not a rabbit out of a hat though,

You are the magic I yearned to find.

I am a fool for not noticing

That fairy tales do come true

My fairy godmother indeed made magic

When she brought you to me

I now realize that magic is real

It is certainly true!

Magic is just for kids and what circus actors do

And perhaps, for fools like me too.

I am forever grateful that you taught me

That magic and reality can never be far apart
